Response from Pringles regarding the FB freebie....Finally!

Remember the Pringles Facebook freebie that was going around about a week ago?  It was a very "suspicious" freebie and alot of buzz about it was going on in both the Facebook and Blogging world about the authenticity of it.  To try to clear the matter up I sent Pringles an email, via the "contact us" on their website.

I just received a response, directly from P&G North American consumer relations.  Here is what was said:

Hi Kellie,

Thank you for contacting Pringles.

The Pringles coupon promotion on our Facebook page was a legitimate P&G promotion. Unfortunately that promotion is no longer valid. I hope you'll stay tuned to www.pringles.com for news on the latest products, promotions, and events.

We do appreciate your interest.

Thanks again for writing.

So if you allowed the facebook application for the free can of Pringles when it was available, you should be receiving a coupon in your mailbox in 6-8 weeks.

Although I appreciate the generousity of companies when they offer us freebies and coupons, I do have to say that I was pretty disappointed in the way this promotion was handled by Proctor and Gamble.
